With degrees and advanced certification from some of the world's most prestigious associations, Hot Springs Health & Fitness' personal trainers will help you get the results you really want, much faster. They will work with you one-on-one, guiding you through a custom-designed program. Prices range from $30 to $60 per hours, depending on trainer experience and qualifications.

Jaron is an AFTA and AFAA certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. He specializes in sharing healthy techniques for w eight loss, improved strength, and improved fitness in a "real world" environment.

Who knew this "former fat guy" would become an endurance athlete competing in cycling and triathlon races across the South! Whether you are fat or fit, Jaron has been there and can help you breakthrough your fitness barriers.

Richard Webb

Specialize in: Core Strengthening, Strength Endurance, Cardio Endurance, Weight Loss, Nutrition Guidance and Conditioning.

Background: Have trained personally over 5 years, recently became certified as personal trainer. Objective is to help people see the need to maintain healthier lifestyles. Lack of exercise and proper nutrition can lead to chronic illness, high blood pressure, heart problems, diabetes and other symptoms. I enjoy helping people see results from their training with me, like weight loss, more energy and stress relief. My clients range from people who have high blood pressure, heart problems, pre-diabetic, back pain and related symptoms. They vary from people who want to lose weight, to ones who want to increase muscle tone and definition. My client base varies in age and fitness ability.

Swim Lessons

Swim lessons are available during the pool season and are taught by certified instructors. Hot Springs Health and Fitness is equipped with an Olympic-size lap pool as well as a giant kiddie pool with waterfalls. For information on lessons contact John Alexander.

Victor Almaral Palafox, Tennis Pro

Born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico where as a Highly ranked Junior player was given the opportunity to attend and join the tennis team at Ouachita Baptist University

Graduated from OBU with a Business Administration degree in 1979.

Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference and NAIA District 17 undefeated for four consecutive years.

Joined the professional European tour in 1979-1980

Head Tennis Professional at Hot Springs Country Club for the last 28 years.

Janet Gillham

Janet Gillham, owner of Effective Massage, one of the massage therapists at Hot Springs Health and Fitness, is offering the MyoKinesthetic System technique for resetting the nervous system in situations of pain.

Janet is a native to the area, and has been offering her massage services at the fitness center since 2007. Her understanding of anatomy and physiology, paired with an ability to apply firm, but proper pressure, has been very well received.

The challenges of therapeutic massage allow Janet to reach into her ever-deepening bag of tricks. She is a true therapist, but enjoys the subtle nuances of relaxation focused massage.

Constance Bell, L.M.T

Constance graduated from Jean’s School of Therapy Technology in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She is licensed by the state of Arkansas Board of Massage Therapy. She is certified in British Sports Therapy, Deep Tissue, and Management of Chronic Fatigue & Fibromyalgia with the use of Essential Oils. The focus of her practice is to help people who suffer from chronic pain, injuries, illness or stress. She helps clients restore balance by alleviating physical symptoms (such as pain and muscle tension), while allowing clients to release mental and emotional tension in a safe and professional environment.

Haley Burcham, L.M.T

Haley graduated from Center For Wholeness & Health in Benton, Arkansas. She is licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Massage Therapy. She is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Essential Oils for Chronic Fatigue & Fibromyalgia. She finds true enjoyment in helping others cope with stress, easing their aches and pains of active living and overworked muscles and joints through massage therapy. She has plans to go through extensive training to help abused women and children using massage therapy. Though Haley has been licensed 2 years, she has had years of background in the field. Both of her parents are massage therapist and they all enjoy working and running their business together. William Bell, L.M.T

William trained in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Myotherapy Institute He has extensive training from the Upledger's Crainiosacral Therapy Institute as well as many hours of training in Emotional Release, Stewart Taws British Sports Therapy &Trigger Point and now Orthopedic Massage. He continues his studies in other therapeutic bodywork in order to give hope to families with members who suffer with chronic pain. After dealing with family and friends who suffer from this way of life he wants all to know there is hope.

Virtual Cycling

Hot Springs Health and Fitness recently opened its new indoor cycling room. HSHF was the first health club in Arkansas to offer "Virtual Rides" presented on a 480-square-inch direct-view screen. Members can now bike through different parts of the world while getting their workout. A six speaker surround sound system helps enhance the trip. Several classes are available from beginner through hard core. We have also started the "HSHF Peddle Club" which allows members to record their miles ridden and receive prizes and discounts. Don't delay. Join a class today and enjoy the world of virtual cycling!
